| The essentials in one capsule |
Pharmaton® Capsules contain three carefully balanced groups of active ingredients:
- Highly concentrated, Standardized Ginseng Extract G115
- Substances acting on the metabolism (vitamins, minerals, trace elements)
- Lipotropic substances (choline, inositol, linoleic acid and linolenic acid)
Thus, by virtue of the composition, Pharmaton® Capsules, are indicated both for elderly persons as well as for members of the medium and younger age groups.
The Extract G115, prepared according to a special Pharmaton process from selected roots of genuine Panax ginseng C.A Meyer gives the preparation a stimulating, so called adaptogenic action on the physical and mental performance, which means enhancement of the capacity of the organism to overcome outside strain by adaptation.
This Ginseng Extract G115 is not only fully standardized on the content of active ingredients (ginsenosides), but it is also stabilized and prepared for a very easy resorption.
The 20 most important vitamins, minerals, and trace elements contained in Pharmaton® Capsules are present in dosages which cover the daily requirements of the human organism.
They help to overcome vitamin and mineral deficiencies which occur increasingly with advancing age due to an unbalanced diet and poor resorption, but also in medium and younger age groups.
In addition, due to the synergistic action of choline, inositol, linoleic acid and linolenic acid with the active ingredients of the ginseng Extract G115, Pharmaton® Capsules also improve the disordered fat metabolism and counteract cholestrin deposits in the blood vessels. |
| Indications |
| For vitamins and mineral deficiencies due to unbalanced diet or insufficient nutrition as a result of poor absorption, loss of appetite or special dietary restrictions. As a dietary supplement during times when increased vitamin and mineral requirements are necessary as in convalescence after illness, pre and post surgical operations or radiotherapy treatment. |
| Contraindications and side-effects |
| Not known provided the prescriptions regarding intake are adhered to. |
| For diabetics |
| The capsules do not contain sugar and are suitable for diabetics. In some cases of senile diabetes an improvement of the pathological carbohydrate intolerance was found. In such cases the daily dosage of antidiabetic preparations may be reduced under medical supervision. |
| Dosage |
| The recommended dosage is one capsule daily, preferably at breakfast. Should there be a need for increased vitamins and minerals intake, please consult your doctor or pharmacist for the recommended dosage. The capsules are best taken with a little liquid. Should they be difficult to swallow, cut the capsule open, press the contents onto a spoon and mix with a little marmalade, honey or other food before taking. |
| Galenic presentation |
| The preparation is available in the form of a suspension capsule of soft gelatin, having the following advantages: rapid and even absorption and optimum bioavailability of the active ingredients without irritation, maximum stability, easy to take. The soft gelatin capsule used in this preparation is non-porcine. |
